Staff Quarters for Immigration Department at Heng Lam Street, Kowloon, has achieved the Final Gold rating under BEAM Plus NB V1.2 in 2020. AEC has served as BEAM Pro to provide green building certification consultancy services. The green highlights include the installation of photovoltaic system on the roof to adopt renewable energy, as well as the adoption of sun-shading architectural features on building facades to reduce solar heat gain and optimize air conditioning.
