Projects & Services
The design and construction of Transport Department Vehicle Examination Complex was completed in April 2021. Our project team was responsible for carrying out detailed acoustic design (e.g. noise insulation, room acoustics) to meet the acoustic performance requirements specified in the ER, as well as designing anti-vibration treatment and noise abatement of vehicle examination equipment and treatment control of background noise from air-conditioning systems and other mechanical and electrical installations.
The key project highlights and design features include the vehicle inspection hall / dyno shed acoustic design. We have conducted the control of MEP and vehicle inspection noise intruding to control rooms and inspection booths. We have reduced echo effect through acoustic panels, and provided adequate noise isolation through provisioned walls and doors. In addition, we have implemented noise control to external areas, including implementation of acoustic measures to reduce MEP noise affecting nearby noise sensitive areas. We have also performed office acoustic design to maintain the optimal acoustic quality to users by provisioning the appropriate noise isolation of walls and doors, acoustic ceiling panels to reduce echo and sound attenuators on MEP equipment to lower the noise level affecting the serving offices.
