The renovation works at 5/F of Shatin Clubhouse, The Hong Kong Jockey Club was completed in January 2021. Our project team was responsible for the interior lighting design for 5/F clubhouse including arrival lobby, wine corridor, Kat-O Bar, Centurion Restaurant, Bistro Canter, toilets and VAT/betting office. To enhance the elegant ambient environment, different lighting moods are designed for day and night time, as well as racing and non-racing day. Dynamic light show is also designed for special occasion.

The feature light box in Centurion Restaurant is one of the design highlights. We developed the light fixture of “Infinity light box” by seeing the rendering and made it in reality. A ceiling feature is an innovative idea yet with many limitations, such as concerns regarding the structure, safety and art. With the concept of “Dining under the firework”, fiber-optic LED is designed with mirror box for the infinity space. In addition, different light scenes with light show are designed and preset in master control lighting system, including fine-dining, racing day with celebration, Christmas, Lunar New Year, etc. to serve various occasions.
