AEC was engaged to complete microclimate study as well as air ventilation assessment for the comprehensive environmental assessment. We have also conducted study on indoor natural ventilation with application of acoustic windows for Site 1 Phase 1, 2 and 5 Development. In the project, local wind environment is enhanced by extensive use of low level empty bays, the hybrid design of ventilation of Public Transport Terminus and car parks utilizes natural ventilation when available, and there is adequate daylight provision at habitable spaces. In addition, all assessed acoustic windows are able to fulfil the requirement of APP-130 minimum 1.5 ACH.
