Hong Kong Green Building Council and BEAM Society Limited have officially launched BEAM Plus New Buildings v2.0 in 2019. Three projects have taken the lead in piloting the upgraded green building rating tool. One of the three projects is Medical Complex Extension at the University of Hong Kong, in which AEC serves as a BEAM Pro to provide green building consultancy services, has attained the BEAM Plus New Buildings v2.0 Provisional Platinum.

The construction of the 3-storey medical complex is slated for completion by the end of 2020.
