Congratulations to BEAM Society Limited on its successful launch of iBEAM – Hong Kong’s first-ever built environment and sustainability data platform. AEC Group is honored to have participated in its trial test and invited to join a media interview earlier – Ms Grace Kwok, Chairman and Executive Director of AEC Group, shared that iBEAM comes at the right time to serve as a one-stop platform with integrated data, which help corporates look for references more easily.

iBEAM predicts that the system can analyze 450,000 built environment and sustainability data every year to establish a large database related to the built environment. The data can be used to predict the development and trend of green buildings in the future, and put forward more forward-looking advices for the industry to practice sustainability. At the same time, the system also implements a paperless review process. Uploading all built environment data to the cloud could improve the transparency, security and integrity of assessment, while reducing carbon emissions and creating a greener built environment for Hong Kong.
