Produced by BBC StoryWorks in collaboration with World Green Building Council, the "Building A Better Future" series features Allied Sustainability and Environmental Consultants Group Limited (AEC Group), the only environmental and sustainability consultancy joining the series from Hong Kong. Through the film, Grace Kwok, Chairman and Executive Director of AEC Group, one of the Hong Kong’s first environmental engineers, has shared her personal sustainability journey and ten-year-plus collaboration with International Commerce Centre (ICC), the tallest green building in town.

Over the years, Grace has been involved in ICC's path to greater heights in sustainability, including the achievements of Final Platinum rating under BEAM Plus Existing Buildings V2.0 as well as the “Outstanding” rating under BREEAM In-Use, making it the first building in Hong Kong to be certified by BREEAM.

Grace is passionate about working with the clients to push the sustainability frontier forward and protecting the environment for future generations, and her enthusiasm about what she's doing has something to do with her family life – so why's that?
