Ms. Grace Kwok, Chairman and Executive Director of AEC Group, was awarded the Women in Green Building Leadership Award by the World Green Building Council (WorldGBC). 2024 "Excellence in ESG” Award

At the prestigious 2024 Hong Kong Corporate Governance and ESG Excellence Awards, co-hosted by the Hong Kong Listed Companies Association (CHKLC) and the Centre for Corporate Governance and Financial Policy at Hong Kong Baptist University (CCGFP), AEC Group proudly received the "Excellence in ESG" award in the GEM company category. 

For thirty years, AEC Group has been dedicated to addressing climate change and enhancing environmental governance. We adopt comprehensive ESG strategies in our operations, comply with global climate standards and agreements, and have developed a corporate decarbonization roadmap. Under the initiative “Our Green Vision to Global Mission,” the group is broadening its footprint in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and along the Belt and Road Initiative. Ms. Grace Kwok, Chairperson and Executive Director of AEC Group, represented us at the awards ceremony.

Recently, AEC Group established verified net-zero goals through the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and committed to achieving carbon neutrality by 2030. 2023 Hong Kong Environmental Excellence Award

AEC Group Wins the "2023 Hong Kong Environmental Excellence Award" - Outstanding Award in the "Service and Trade Sector" and "Outstanding Promotion Partner" .

The results of the "2023 Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence," organized by the Environmental Campaign Committee in collaboration with the Environment and Ecology Bureau and nine other organizations, were recently announced. She will continue to build close rapport with the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at PolyU to facilitate academic and industry partnership as a way to give back to her alma mater and nurture a new generation of sustainability leaders!

Caring Company Logo 2015-22

AEC Group was awarded the Caring Company Logo by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS) for seven consecutive years. We will continue to fulfill our social responsibility through caring for the community, employees and the environment, in hopes of building a cohesive society.

AEC Group at all times cares about our employees, community and environment. In the past year, our Sustainability Working Group (SWG) regularly organized a variety of activities such as fitness classes, yoga classes and thematic workshops to enhance the health and well-being of our staff, and foster a caring culture in our workplace. HKCT Business Awards 2022

AECGroup was awarded "年度最傑出環境顧問服務" of the HKCT Business Awards 2022 held by Hong Kong Economic Times. Our Chairman and Executive Director Grace Kwok and CEO and Executive Director Dennis Wu were invited to receive the recognition from Dr. Bernard Chan Pak Li, JP, Under Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, HKSAR Government on the Award Presentation Ceremony.

In the past year, AEC Group has been providing comprehensive environmental and sustainability consultancy services to clients through our professional knowledge. This recognition will certainly drive us to continue our hard work in the coming new year!

Women in Sustainability Leadership Awards

Women in Sustainability Leadership Awards Alumnae Group has announced the list of this year's "WomenInSustainabilityLeadership" representatives from around the world. Grace Kwok, Chairman and Executive Director of AEC Group, was honored to be selected as one of the 2022 "WomenInSustainabilityLeadership".

In her award acceptance speech, Grace mentioned that climate change has become an unprecedented crisis for humanity in the last decade, that she was grateful to have the opportunity to drive climate action and build up climate resilience with her work. As a woman, Grace particularly dedicated to promoting sustainability governance among female leaders and nurturing young women by means of continuous sharing and mentorship. In fact, Grace can see growing number of young leaders putting forth tremendous efforts to achieve sustainable development in this decade. This positive impact would, in turn, leverage their influence circle and networks to drive further change and sustainable initiatives in the community at large.

Ms Grace Kwok, Chairman and Executive Director of AEC Group was awarded GBA Outstanding Woman Entrepreneur Awards 2020 by Hong Kong Small and Medium Enterprises Association and FM 104 Metro Finance, recognizing women entrepreneurs with distinguished business achievements, which includes various group founders or senior executives from different industry sectors.

2019 class of LEED Fellows

The 2019 class of LEED Fellows awarded by Green Business Certification Inc. has been announced on 22 October 2019. We are proud and honored to announce that Ms. Grace Kwok, our Chairman and Executive Director of AEC Group, has become the very first environmental practitioner in Hong Kong to receive the greatest level of professional certification LEED Fellow, and was awarded the honor at the Greenbuild China 2019 held in Shanghai. 

Ms. Grace Kwok, an exceptional practitioner and leader within the sustainability and green building community for twenty years, has demonstrated mastery of the technical application of LEED and dedicated her career to sustainability and the green building movement.

Industry Cares 2017-2021

AEC Group has received “3+ Year Award” from the Industry Cares Recognition Scheme organized by Federation of Hong Kong Industries, in appreciation of our active supports and participation in CSR activities.

Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence 2016-2019

2017/18 Family-Friendly Employers Award Scheme

BRE China Annual Event and Awards Ceremony

AEC Group received Pioneering Project Award and Pioneering Professional Award at the BRE China Annual Event and Awards Ceremony in Shanghai on 18 April 2018, in recognition of our efforts in pursuing the first licensed BREEAM In-Use Assessor and bringing a new BREEAM standard to the China and Hong Kong market. We are deeply honored to accept the awards and will continue to help clients achieve sustainability targets through various local and international green building rating tools.

Inaugural BDO ESG Awards

We would like to express our heartfelt congratulations to Fairwood Holdings Limited for winning the Best in Reporting – Small Cap in the inaugural BDO ESG Awards. As the first-of-its-kind awards scheme in Hong Kong, the Awards recognize outstanding companies who have made a positive impact in the areas of Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) and aim to raise awareness and provide companies with examples of best practices to fulfil the increasing expectations and requirements on ESG performance and ESG reporting standards.

2017 Business Excellence Awards: Best Acoustics Consultancy - Hong Kong

 AEC Group won the 2017 Business Excellence Awards and was recognized as the Best Acoustics Consultancy in Hong Kong.

郭美珩女士於2017年6月5日出席「諾貝爾獎學人系列頒獎典禮」，並於台上獲頒「亞洲商界女領袖獎」。

World Sustainable Built Environment Conference 2017 Hong Kong

Co-organized by the Construction Industry Council (CIC) and the Hong Kong Green Building Council (HKGBC), the World Sustainable Built Environment Conference 2017 Hong Kong (WSBE17 Hong Kong) was held on 5-7 June 2017 in Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). During the Gala Dinner held on 6 June 2017, two of AEC Group's green building projects, Towngas Headquarters and Hang Seng Management College, were presented awards; the former was recognized as the project gaining the Highest Score for BEAM Plus Existing Buildings, whereas the latter was recognized as the organization with the most BEAM Plus Final Platinum Projects. We were thankful to our clients for giving us the opportunity to participate in these two green building projects and to make a contribution to creating a sustainable built environment.
